Queen Bee Peach Ice-Cream

Makes 4 - 6 Servings
We have been making easy, delicious, creamy ice cream for years. The trick is to use sweetened condensed milk and whipping cream. Just add your fruit of choice.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces (250ml) heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla
  • 1 can (300ml) sweetened condensed milk
  • ¼ cup (60ml) white sugar
  • 2 cups (500ml) fresh peaches, peeled, sliced & pureed

Method

In a large chilled bowl, whip the cream with a mixer until soft peaks form.  Add the  vanilla, sweetened condensed milk, and sugar.  Mix until combined.  

Prepare the peaches and puree them in a blender until desired consistency.   Strain any fluid from the pureed peaches and add to the whipped cream mixture.  Mix by hand until combined.

Pour into a freezable loaf pan or individual dishes and cover with plastic wrap.  Freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.
