Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup (113g) unsweetened pumpkin puree
  • ¼ cup (120g) natural peanut butter (no sugar added)
  • 2½ cups (275g) whole wheat flour
  • Pinch of salt

Method

Preheat the oven to 350°F/176°C.

In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, pumpkin puree, and peanut butter until smooth. Add the flour and salt and mix with your hands to form a stiff, dry dough. If the dough is too dry to hold together, add a few drops of water.

Dust your work surface with a little more flour and dump the dough out. Knead the dough into a rough ball, and roll ¼ inch (6mm) thick. Use any cookie cutters you like to make the biscuits. Re-roll and cut any scraps.

Place biscuits onto a baking sheet. They won't spread at all so you can place them as close as you like. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove the tray and flip each biscuit over – return to the oven and bake for another 20 minutes.

Cool before treating your pup!
