Creamy Oatmeal with Dried Fruits

  • ½ cup (125ml) quick oats
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) powdered milk
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) brown sugar
  • ¼ cup (48g) dried fruit of your choice
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) ground almonds
  • 2 pinches cinnamon
  • ¾ cup (200ml) water, or more


Pack dry ingredients into a resealable bag.

At the camp or trail, bring water to boil and add all ingredients.

Stir and let it sit for 3-4 minutes. Add a little more water if it’s too thick.
