Strawberry Mascarpone Crostini with Honey and Lemon

  • slices of Italian Bread or Baguette, cut diagonally
  • butter
  • 1 cup (150 g) Sliced Strawberries
  • mascarpone cheese
  • honey
  • lemon zest
  • fresh chocolate mint leaves


Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.  Place onto a cookie sheet and place under the broiler until lightly toasted.  Turn over and toast the other side. 

Remove crostini toasts from the oven and let cool.

Spread each slice of crostini with mascarpone cheese and layer on strawberries to cover top.

Cover strawberries with lemon zest and drizzle with honey.  

Garnish with small leaves of fresh chocolate mint.
