Ingredients

  • 1 sugar cube
  • 2-3 dashes aromatic bitters
  • 1 ounce (29.5ml) cognac
  • 4-6 ounces (118-177ml) Champagne, to taste
  • Maraschino cherry, for garnish
  • Orange slice, for garnish

Method

Place the sugar cube in the bottom of a Champagne flute.

Saturate the cube with bitters.

Add the cognac.

Drop a cherry into the glass.

Fill with Champagne

Garnish with the orange slice.

Serve and enjoy.
