Method

Start by purchasing a delicious cake. Our Candy Cane Cheesecake is from our favorite bakery counter at www.thevillagegrocer.com, but you can find something similar close to home. Follow our steps and create your own masterpiece:

  1. Make or purchase your favorite cake and plate it on a pretty cake stand. Gather your decorations: ribbon for a pretty bow, (remember to remove before slicing) cookies, candies, French macaroons and candy canes.
  2. Add the ribbon to the center of the cake and tie a small bow for an extra cute touch. Add the macaroons around the base of the cake, spacing evenly. Use a dab of icing, if needed, to secure the macaroons to the cake.
  3. Remove wrappers from the candy canes and stick them in the center of the cake forming a circle, spacing evenly. Keep chilled till your party begins.
