Avocado Lime Crema

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 garlic clove, peeled and minced, optional
  • 1 fresh lime, juiced and zested
  • ½ cup (125g) sour cream or greek yogurt
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5ml) ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5ml) sea salt


Add all ingredients to a food processor and mix until blended and smooth. If mixing by hand, mash the avocados first and then add all the ingredients. Combine, using a hand mixer, until smooth. For a runnier sauce that you can drizzle in a piping bag, add 1-2 teaspoons (5-10ml) of additional fresh lime juice.
