Cinnamon Caramelized Pumpkin Seeds

Makes 1 Cup
Don’t throw your seeds away after you are done carving the pumpkin! Roast them with cinnamon for an unexpected treat!

  • 1 cup (120g) pumpkin seeds, cleaned, rinsed, and well dried
  • ¼ cup (45g) brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon (15g) melted butter
  • ¼ teaspoon (1.25ml) salt
  • ¼ teaspoon (1.25ml) ground cinnamon


Preheat the oven to 325°F/1636°C.

Set the cooking rack in the center of the oven.  Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

In a bowl, mix the pumpkin seeds with the other ingredients, evenly spread the mix on the baking plate.

Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, and let it cool before serving.
