Maple Glazed Walnuts

Makes 2 cups (200g)
Ready in less than 5 minutes, these delicious maple walnuts can be used to enhance salads, desserts or simply eat as a snack.

  • 2 cups (200g) walnut halves
  • ⅓ cup (80ml) real maple syrup
  • pinch of sea salt


Heat a dry non-stick skillet over medium/high heat.  Add the walnuts and toast for 1 minute.  Add the maple syrup and salt and continue to cook, stirring constantly to fully coat the walnuts.  Cook for 2-3 minutes until the syrup is caramelised.  Remove from

pan and place onto a wire rack to cool. (Separate each walnut while cooling to prevent them sticking together)
